Flash flood hits arts center of Sedona!

Did nature rebel against man in the art capital of central AZ today? A huge flood hit downtown Sedona. Three inches of rain in about 20 minutes in one particular wash resulted in the flooding of the ritzy, trendy Telaquepaque arts shopping plaza. Many cars were completely destroyed by the reported 5 feet of muddy water that ran over the parking lot.

I got here too late but found one car that was jacked, right next to some muddy bear sculptures.

Howdy J,

As a matter of fact, I am. Took me a while but hell, why not?

I'l have to see your page for what you've been up to.

Haven't been up to much, unfortunately. I feel like I've spent the whole monsoon season cooped up inside at my job. =/ Then again, was a pretty weak season, so I don't know who is more at fault, me or the weather. Anyway, glad to see another familiar face on DA. :)

It has been a dud of a monsoon. Weird weather this summer. I haven't been out as much as usual myself.

I picked up a D70 and I've been using it quite a bit. It's not as nice as film but pretty convenient without the expense of developing. Still happy with your canon?

I'm off to the north rim for a few days to catch the last of the storms. Hope you can get out somewhere this weekend
:iconrhavethstine:
I actually have a D70s as well. :) I use it strictly for Infrared these days, due to its limited MP count and greater sensitivity to that wavelength. I use a Nikon D200 for my main camera right now. It's alright. Nothing amazing, but it fine for what I do with it. About due for an upgrade. Have fun up at the rim. Looking forward to any pictures you bring back.

I wonder who this could be :?

Happy to report I am now in communication.
